We are very proud to say we have worked hard to achieve the ‘Healthy Early Years North Yorkshire’ Bronze, Silver and Gold awards

The North Yorkshire Healthy Early Years Award is for Early Years Providers in the county. The award covers key themes and assess the quality of the provision provided by the setting through a portfolio of evidence. The Themes are active lives, health food, emotional health and well being and staff well being. We worked through the award over the course of a year and are very please to say we met all the standards required up to the gold achievement

Here at Wharfe Bridge Day Nursery we are also proud to be part of the ‘Sun Safe Nurseries Scheme’. This is a national accreditation for nursery and pre-school settings to support them in their duty of care to safeguard children against UV and prevent skin cancer through education.
